Recommended Itinerary for Short-Term Overseas Trips with Minimal Vacation Days - 2024 Second Half

For office workers, you need to use your annual leave to travel, right?

Of course, taking 5 consecutive days of leave is also good, but I recommend schedules that include public holidays as much as possible for your trip.

There's one drawback, though. Since everyone is thinking the same thing, the price of flights and accommodations tends to be high T_T

• Schedule : 3-night 4-day trip
• Vacation Dates : August 15 (Thu) - August 18 (Sun)
• Annual Leave Required : 1 day (August 16, Friday)
• Recommended Destinations : South Korea, Japan (Northern Region)
• Recommendation : It's going to be really hot in the summer, and with a short trip, it might be better to stay in Korea. There's also Hokkaido and other northern regions of Japan.

September 16, 2024 (Mon) - September 18, 2024 (Wed) [Chuseok Holiday]

• Schedule : 8-night 9-day trip
• Vacation Dates : September 14 (Sat) - September 22 (Sun)
• Annual Leave Required : 2 days (September 19, Thursday - September 20, Friday)
• Recommended Destinations : Australia, Europe, Caribbean
• Recommendation : The heat will have subsided by this time, but it will still be slightly warm. It's also a great time to take a longer vacation. Any destination is good!

October 3, 2024 (Thursday) [National Foundation Day]

• Schedule : 3-night 4-day trip
• Vacation Dates : October 3 (Thu) - October 6 (Sun)
• Annual Leave Required : 1 day (October 4, Friday)
• Recommended Destinations : South Korea, Taiwan, Japan
• Recommendation : The weather will be nice, but the duration is short. It might be best to consider a nearby destination.

October 9, 2024 (Wednesday) [Hangul Day]

• Schedule : 4-night 5-day trip
• Vacation Dates : October 9 (Wed) - October 13 (Sun)
• Annual Leave Required : 2 days (October 10, Thursday - October 11, Friday)
• Recommended Destinations : Vietnam, Singapore, and other Southeast Asian countries
• Recommendation : The weather will be good, and this is a popular time to visit Vietnam.

December 25, 2024 (Wednesday) [Christmas]

• Schedule : 4-night 5-day trip
• Vacation Dates : December 25 (Wed) - December 29 (Sun)
• Annual Leave Required : 2 days (December 26, Thursday - December 27, Friday)
• Recommended Destinations : Vietnam, Singapore, and other Southeast Asian countries
• Recommendation : It's cold in Korea. Southeast Asia is a good option. As mentioned earlier, Christmas holidays can be very expensive, so you need to check carefully.
